2024 Community Commitment

In 2024, Afterthought Expressions (AE) is dedicated to fostering positivity and building resilient communities through meaningful connections, both near and far.

Global Impact: This year, we're proud to continue supporting the Yei Henumo Kpee organization in Accra, Ghana. Our focus is on the Menstruation Project, addressing financial barriers for adolescent girls to access feminine hygiene products. AE pledges to donate products and raise funds for this vital initiative.

Local Support: Locally, join Afterthought Expressions in making a difference right here in the Twin Cities! This year, we're partnering with the GaDangme Foundation MN to provide essential back-to-school supplies and cold weather necessities for students in need.

What We're Collecting:

  1. Backpacks and School Supplies
  2. Cold Weather Essentials (Coats, Hats, Gloves)

How You Can Contribute:

  1. Arrange a Drop-Off/Pick-Up: Visit is at one of our pop-up events or arrange a pick-up/drop-off for your donations.
  1. Online Support: Can't make it in person? Contribute online to our fund (Coming Soon), which will be utilized to purchase additional supplies.

Together, let's create a warm and welcoming environment for these students as they embark on a new school year. Thank you for being a part of this impactful initiative!

Stay connected for updates or reach out directly if you'd like to join us in making a positive impact!
